Laura G. Zois

As a partner at Miller & Zois, LLC, Laura G. Zois commits her practice to representing the rights of people in Baltimore and throughout the state of Maryland. Ms. Zois handles personal injury cases, including medical malpractice as well as automobile, motorcycle and truck accidents.

In 1991, Ms. Zois graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, with a Bachelor of Science. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 1995, graduating with honors. Prior to representing people who are victims of negligent actions, Ms. Zois represented insurance companies and handled more than 300 cases involving auto accidents.

Suffering an injury as a result of a motor vehicle accident can be extremely traumatic as well as expensive. Ms. Zois provides focused, individualized attention to her clients in order to secure the compensation to which they are entitled. In several recent cases, her clients were offered either nothing or $25,000, and Ms. Zois was able to argue for verdicts of $1.1 million and more than $1 million, respectively. When a local family lost their son and brother in an automobile accident, Ms. Zois garnered an $8 million award on their behalf.

Ms. Zois regularly shares her legal experience with fellow personal injury attorneys, having been invited to speak at the annual American Association for Justice seminar on auto torts held in conjunction with the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. She is a member of the Maryland Association for Justice, Inc., where she currently serves on the board of governors, is a former treasurer and has been a member of several committees.
