Laura G. Zois

As a co-founder of Miller and Zois, LLC, based in Baltimore, Maryland, Laura G. Zois represents clients in a wide range of personal injury matters. Her practice focuses on complex litigation involving car and truck accidents, medical malpractice and wrongful death claims. She also handles cases related to nursing home abuse, premises liability, defective products, dangerous drugs and medical devices. 

Ms. Zois has achieved significant results on behalf of her clients, including an $8 million verdict in an automobile accident case and a $1.1 million verdict in a medical malpractice matter. Her work often involves intricate medical and legal issues, including birth injuries, surgical errors, cancer misdiagnosis and hospital negligence. She is known for her thorough case preparation and commitment to pursuing favorable outcomes for those she represents.

With extensive experience in high-stakes litigation, Ms. Zois advocates for individuals and families facing serious injuries caused by negligence. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Tennessee in 1991 and went on to receive her Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 1995. That same year, she was admitted to practice in Maryland.

Ms. Zois is actively involved in several professional organizations. She is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and serves on the Board of Governors for the Maryland Association for Justice. She is also a member of the American Association for Justice and the Association of Plaintiff Interstate Trucking Lawyers of America. Additionally, she participates in the Maryland Association for Justice’s Women’s Caucus and Legislative Committee and is a member of the University of Baltimore School of Law Dean’s Development Circle.
