Richard Seitz

Richard Seitz is an associate at Peter Angelos Law in Baltimore, Maryland, where he dedicates his practice to personal injury litigation and workers’ compensation matters. Mr. Seitz earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2009, where he distinguished himself through moot court competitions and student leadership. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Rutgers University, conferred in 2004, reflecting a foundation of academic inquiry and critical thinking.

Admitted to the Maryland State Bar Association in 2009, Mr. Seitz is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland (2010) and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit (2013). He is an active member of the American Bar Association, the Maryland State Bar Association and the Maryland Association for Justice, reflecting his commitment to professional development.

Prior to joining Peter Angelos Law, Mr. Seitz served as a staff attorney in the Maryland Attorney General’s Office. Following his clerkship during law school, he developed a deep understanding of labor and employment law issues. In that capacity, he conducted legal research, drafted pleadings and advised on regulatory compliance affecting Maryland’s workforce.

During his tenure at the Attorney General’s Office, Mr. Seitz honed his litigation skills, appearing before the Workers’ Compensation Commission and the Office of Administrative Hearings to secure favorable outcomes for injured workers. He also first-chaired jury trials in state courts, guiding personal injury cases and workers’ compensation appeals to verdict through persuasive trial strategy and thorough preparation.
