Saxon M. Weimer

Saxon M. Weimer is a distinguished attorney at Gohn Hankey & Berlage LLP, based in Baltimore, Maryland, where she judiciously navigates the complex realms of business litigation and equine law. With an academic journey marked by excellence and a commitment to understanding the intricacies of law and commerce, Ms. Weimer graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English literature and German language from the University of Kentucky in 2017, showcasing her profound analytical and communication skills. In 2018, Ms. Weimer realized her lifelong dream of attending law school. She began her law degree at the University of Kentucky, where her legal talents and foundation were bolstered through her active involvement in myriad campus activities. In her 3L year, she served as the President of the Equine Law Society.

While in law school, Ms. Weimer's passion for international trade led her to dual-enroll in the Patterson School of Diplomacy, where she pursued a Master of Arts in International Commerce and Intelligence and Security. She completed her Master's in 2021. Ms. Weimer received her Juris Doctor in 2023, and in the same year, she obtained her license to practice law in Maryland.

Ms. Weimer served in various capacities across numerous organizations. Ms. Weimer specialized in international trade at the Kentucky Department of Agriculture, where she leveraged her knowledge to enhance agricultural commerce. Ms. Weimer served as a law clerk to the Honorable Judge Claria Horn Boom of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky. This opportunity provided her with invaluable insights into federal court proceedings and judicial decision-making.

Prior to law school, Ms. Weimer professionally trained dogs for 17 years and travelled the world for her horseback riding career in dressage. Ms. Weimer has obtained her bronze and silver medals with the USDF, and her gold medal with USPC in dressage. Ms. Weimer has represented both the USA and Australia in international dressage competitions. She remains passionate about riding to this day.
