Yale Spector

The founder of the Spector Law Group, Yale Spector focuses his practice exclusively on Medical Malpractice and Personal Injury litigation. From the firm’s offices in Baltimore, Maryland, he provides representation to clients throughout the greater metropolitan area. Mr. Spector has been admitted to practice before all Maryland state courts since 1998, and he is also admitted to practice in the District of Columbia.

Mr. Spector’s client base is made up of people who have incurred economic and noneconomic losses as the result of the negligence or recklessness of other persons or entities. The types of cases that he has handled have arisen out of incidents involving medical malpractice, defective consumer products, dangerous drugs, premises liability, animal attacks, and truck and other motor vehicle accidents. During his distinguished career, Mr. Spector has been able to obtain millions of dollars in compensation for his plaintiff clients through jury awards as well as through settlements that he has negotiated with defendants and their insurance companies.

Some of Mr. Spector’s representative results have included a $150 million jury verdict against Exxon Mobil for Baltimore County residents who suffered groundwater contamination and a $6 million award for a child who was born with cerebral palsy due to malpractice in the delivery room. These and other successes in and out of the courtroom have earned him a great deal of recognition from his fellow members of the bar, including an “Excellent” peer review rating through Avvo.

A 1994 Bachelor of Arts recipient from Franklin & Marshall College, Mr. Spector pursued his legal education at the University of Baltimore School of Law and was awarded his Juris Doctor in 1997. He is a member of several professional organizations, including the Maryland Association for Justice, Inc.
