Ms. Barrett completed her undergraduate studies in 1995, graduating with her Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and government, and sociology from Boston University. She went on to attend The Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law and received her Juris Doctor in 1998. A year later, she obtained her license to practice law in Maryland and the District of Columbia.
