Bizhan Beiramee

Bizhan Beiramee is the managing attorney at the law firm Beiramee Law Group, P.C., in Bethesda, Maryland.  He practices throughout Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia.   He regularly handles complex litigation involving real estate, title insurance, mortgage servicing, regulated industries and professions, construction, commercial collections, business and employment matters.  

A graduate of the George Washington University Law School, with honors, Bizhan clerked for the Honorable Peter B. Krauser of the Court of Special Appeals of Maryland, as well as Justice Thomas G. Saylor of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania.  He also holds a graduate degree in Engineering Management.

Bizhan regularly represents lenders, loan servicers, substitute trustees, and attorneys in litigation to establish, enforce, and defend the validity of mortgage instruments, as well as the validity of the loans.  He also handles defensive litigation on their behalf.  Bizhan has handled dozens of appeals involving commercial matters, many of which have resulted in authoritative case law in Maryland, Virginia and D.C.  He handles contested trials, including jury trials and bench trials through the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, Maryland and Virginia, and on occasion, in other jurisdictions, as pro hac counsel.

He is frequently brought in by other law firms and lawyers to defend them in litigated matters.  Bizhan has provided training to law firms in the area of foreclosure law and title litigation.  He has also provided continuing education courses for settlement agents and attorneys concerning real estate title litigation, foreclosure, and loss mitigation.  He is a contributing author of the 5th edition of Gordon on Maryland Foreclosures, the seminal treatise on Maryland Foreclosures, concerning foreclosure appeals.   He has also provided training programs for several national title insurance underwriters.
