John (Jack) R. Orrick, Jr. is a member of the Business Transactions Group at Offit Kurman. Mr. Orrick concentrates in general corporate law, with emphasis on business formations, acquisitions and sales, business financings, joint ventures, opportunity zone funds and other business transactions.  He has represented numerous clients in public and private securities offerings and has extensive experience representing a wide variety of corporate and individual clients, including financial institutions, in diverse commercial transactions.  Mr. Orrick's practice at the firm centers on general corporate matters, business and tax planning and the representation of clients in securitized equity and debt financings.  Jack also has represented clients in municipal bond offerings for special taxing districts and tax increment financing districts, PILOT Agreements and other business incentive and tax credit programs, and other complex real estate financing transactions.

Clients turn to Jack because of his business sense and collaborative philosophy, which he uses to negotiate transactions strategically and close deals. His diverse and extensive transactions experience gives him a broad view of overall business operations, allowing him to advise clients in a variety of industries, including, but not limited to, real estate.
