Meredith Hill

Serving clients across the Washington metropolitan area and Maryland, Meredith Hill is the founder and principal attorney of The Hill Law Group in Bethesda. She dedicates her practice to comprehensive estate planning, probate and estate administration, and the meticulous preparation of wills and trusts. With deep legal insight and compassionate counsel, she crafts personalized strategies that preserve family legacies, minimize tax liabilities and provide enduring security and peace of mind for future generations.

Ms. Hill earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia and her Juris Doctor from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. First admitted in Indiana in 2011, she has been licensed in Maryland since 2013. An active member of the legal community, she serves on the Maryland State Bar Association board of governors, co-chairs the Bar Association of Montgomery County’s Solo & Small Firm Section and is an active member of the Estate Planning Council of Montgomery County, Maryland.

After witnessing firsthand the devastating fallout of improper estate planning, Ms. Hill founded her firm in 2018 on a mission to help families avoid those costly mistakes. Her approach combines accessible community education with tailored, compassionate legal guidance, demystifying complex probate and trusts so clients feel thoroughly empowered. By proactively crafting secure plans that protect what matters most, she ensures clients can safeguard their generational legacies to not only rest but also live in peace.
