Rhian McGrath

Rhian McGrath is an attorney and principal at Webb Soypher McGrath in Bethesda, Maryland. Ms. McGrath dedicates her practice to all aspects of family law, including divorce, custody, high-asset divorce, prenuptial agreements and more. She serves clients throughout Maryland and the District of Columbia.

Ms. McGrath has more than 15 years of experience and is a seasoned litigator. She works with a diverse range of clients, including individuals, business owners and young professionals. In addition to her extensive courtroom experience, she is skilled in alternative dispute resolution techniques, including mediation.

In recognition of her success over the years, “The Best Lawyers in America” included Ms. McGrath in the publication multiple years in a row. In 2012, she was named “committee chair of the year” by the Bar Association of Montgomery County and included on the Maryland Daily Record’s leading women list.

Active in the family law legal community, Ms. McGrath is a member of the Bar Association of Montgomery County. She also belongs to the Montgomery County Maryland American Inn of Court and various women’s bar associations.

Ms. McGrath earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from The George Washington University and received her law degree from The Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law. She acquired her license to practice law in 2001. She is actively licensed in Maryland and in the District of Columbia.

Before starting her family law practice, Ms. McGrath gained legal experience by clerking for a Montgomery County Circuit Court judge. She also practiced civil litigation in areas, including contracts, commercial disputes and real estate transactions.
