Robb A. Longman is the managing member of Longman & Van Grack, LLC. He focuses his practice on federal and state income tax matters, business counseling and transactions, and estate planning from the firm’s office in Bethesda, Maryland. Mr. Longman represents people and businesses throughout the greater District of Columbia metropolitan area.

Mr. Longman handles tax planning and return preparation, and he also has extensive experience in Internal Revenue Service audits and controversies, offers in compromise, and tax liens. He has appeared before the U.S. Tax Court as well as other courts in connection with related litigation. In his estate planning practice, Mr. Longman prepares and reviews wills, living and irrevocable trusts, advance medical directives, and health care and financial powers of attorney. His business law experience includes the preparation and negotiation of employment agreements and other contracts, and he advises business owners on succession planning issues and has handled sales, acquisitions, and other transactions. He majored in criminal psychology at Hofstra University and received a Bachelor of Arts in 1997. Mr. Longman then enrolled at the University of Baltimore School of Law, and in 2001 he obtained his Juris Doctor and then in 2003 a Master of Laws in taxation.
