As a partner at Plaxen & Adler, P.A., Bruce M. Plaxen is committed to representing clients across the state of Maryland, including Baltimore and Columbia. He focuses his practice on personal injury cases that involve the following matters: workers' compensation, wrongful death claims, Social Security Disability, animal attacks, automobile accidents, slip-and-fall injuries, product liability and medical malpractice.
After graduating cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts from the University at Albany, State University of New York, Mr. Plaxen went on to earn a Juris Doctor from the American University Washington College of Law in 1982.
With more than 30 years of experience, Mr. Plaxen understands the challenges people face following a serious injury that was caused by someone else's negligence. Taking the time to understand each client's goals, Mr. Plaxen uses expert witnesses and convincing evidence to craft a compelling argument. He takes a tactical approach to every case, allowing clients to focus on healing while he fights for maximum compensation on their behalf.
For his successes in the courtroom, Mr. Plaxen holds an Avvo "Excellent" rating, and the Maryland Association for Justice, Inc., has twice honored him for his commitment to serving his clients' best interests. The University at Albany, State University of New York bestowed upon Mr. Plaxen its Distinguished Alumnus Award following his pro bono work with the families of people who were killed during the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks.
Active in the legal community, Mr. Plaxen serves on the board of governors for the Maryland Association for Justice, Inc., and he speaks and gives lectures for that organization. He also serves on the executive committee of the American Association for Justice.
