David Muncy

While still in law school, Mr. Muncy worked for an insurance defense firm, where he gained invaluable insight into the tactics insurance providers use to reduce or deny claims. Realizing he would find greater reward advocating on behalf of innocent accident victims and their families, he shifted to plaintiff representation, and from his past insurance defense experience, he is able to devise the most effective strategies possible to help his clients recover the maximum amount of compensation they deserve.

A 2009 graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park, Mr. Muncy attended the University of Baltimore School of Law, where he obtained his Juris Doctor magna cum laude in 2012. While there, he received induction into the Heuisler Honor Society, and he was a member of the Robert Wagner Moot Court Team as well as executive board member of the University of Baltimore Law Review.

He also earned selection by his student peers to represent them on the dean search committee, and he represented indigent criminal defendants as a Rule 16 Public Defender in Baltimore City District Court.

Since 2018, Mr. Muncy has served on an elected position with the Office of Parliamentarian for the Maryland Association for Justice, and he holds the distinction of being the organization's youngest secretary. He also sits on the organization's board of governors and is the co-chair of its Young Lawyers Division as well as chair of its membership committee. He is also active in other legal organizations and has lobbied before the Maryland legislature on the rights of injured victims.
