Erin K. Voss is the managing partner of Nagle & Zaller, P.C. Throughout her career, Ms. Voss has represented individuals and business organizations in civil litigation matters and as general counsel. She has substantial experience handling corporate, personal injury, contract and community association matters.
As a trial attorney, Ms. Voss has secured millions in damages on behalf of her clients. Notable victories include a $4 million compensation award in a groundwater contamination and property damage case and multi-million dollar settlements in a medical malpractice cases. In 2010, she was part of the trial team that won $34.3 million in damages for carbon monoxide poisoning suffered by a group of individuals who were exposed while working at a downtown Baltimore restaurant. Before joining Nagle & Zaller, P.C., Ms. Voss clerked for Judge John C. Eldridge of the Supreme Court of Maryland and was an associate at a well-known Baltimore litigation firm.
Ms. Voss has a degree in philosophy from Southern Illinois University. She graduated with honors from the University of Baltimore School of Law, where she was awarded her Juris Doctor in 2005. While in law school, she received an award for her charitable human rights work and was the captain of the AAJ Student Trial Team and Braxton Craven Moot Court Team. She has been a member of the adjunct faculty at her law school since 2005, teaching trial advocacy for trial teams and an externship program course. Ms. Voss was also a student attorney with the Saul Ewing Civil Advocacy Clinic, where she represented clients who could not otherwise afford the services of a lawyer. She is admitted to practice in Maryland, Illinois and the District of Columbia.
She is a member of the Peer Review Commission, which participates in panels to review the actions of attorneys and determine if they adhere to the high ethical standards of the Maryland Bar. She is also a consultant for Maryland Legal Aid on community association matters and has written articles for professional publications.
Ms. Voss actively participates in numerous volunteer organizations and charities. She is active in her community and has held Board positions in local and statewide bar associations. In 2018, she and her husband along with several friends founded Anchor Athletics, an athletic charitable organization to support and encourage youth athletes. She lives in Bel Air, MD with her husband and two children.
