Kristen M. Lohmeyer

Kristen M. Lohmeyer founded the law office of Ally Legal Planning in Columbia, Maryland, with a passion for providing high-quality service and care to her clients. After focusing the first part of her career on business and commercial law and understanding the strong connections her clients develop with their businesses, she expanded her practice to estate planning, with an emphasis on business succession planning when necessary, and estate administration.   

Seasoned and meticulous, Ms. Lohmeyer devotes her time to thoroughly evaluating her clients’ goals and current circumstances before crafting appropriate solutions that work for them. For clients from various backgrounds across the Baltimore metropolitan area, she offers innovative suggestions and knowledgeable advice to empower them in the decision-making process. Ms. Lohmeyer ensures that her clients are educated about their options so they can feel empowered in their decision making. 

An HRCI-certified Professional in Human Resources, Ms. Lohmeyer gained her bachelor’s degree in business administration in 2006 from the York College of Pennsylvania with active involvement in the national honorary and professional management fraternity, Sigma Iota Epsilon. She graduated cum laude with her Juris Doctor in 2011 from the University of Baltimore.

Serving as a member of Howard County Human Resources Society’s Diversity & Inclusion and Legislative Committees, Ms. Lohmeyer also holds memberships in the Maryland State Bar Association, The Arc of Howard County’s Board, and the Society for Human Resource Management. Ms. Lohmeyer is also the current chair of the Business Law Section of the Howard County Bar Association.
