Shannon F. Werbeck

A proficient attorney with a little over two years of experience in litigating cases, Shannon F. Werbeck currently practices law at Elville and Associates, P.C., in Columbia, Maryland. She offers her assistance to the people of the Greater Baltimore metro area and represents her clients in courts in matters related to elder planning, probate administration, tax planning, special needs planning and business planning. 

With a major in political science and a minor in psychology, Ms. Werbeck received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, in 2015. She studied law at the University of Baltimore School of Law and obtained her Juris Doctor in 2019. While pursuing her studies, she interned at several offices and organizations and learned a great deal about the judicial system and various processes. 

After passing her bar exam and getting admittance to practice law in the state of Maryland, Ms. Werbeck started her career as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Susan M. Marzetta and Lori Joy Eisner at Baltimore City Circuit Courthouses for a year. Afterward, she joined a renowned private law firm in Towson and focused on domestic and criminal matters, and prepared testaments and wills. 

Ms. Werbeck understands how important future planning is and diligently develops a solution in accordance with her clients’ needs and expectations. She calmly and promptly explains all the possible options and tools to ensure that her clients’ assets are well managed, and their family is protected. 

While she is not advocating for her clients, Ms. Werbeck actively involves herself as a volunteer at Blue Water Baltimore, a nonprofit organization with the mission to restore Baltimore and build a healthy environment. She is also a member of the Maryland State Bar Association.
