Since 2007, Alaina L. Storie has been cultivating her legal career and reputation in family law. Alaina began Storie Family Law, LLC with the goal of providing exceptional, individualized service to her clients. Alaina brings her extensive experience to attain the best outcome for her clients, whether that be through litigation or alternative dispute resolution. Alaina recognizes the challenges that family law matters bring to her clients, which include the emotional and financial strains. She is a tireless advocate and guides her clients so they may reach their goals, whether that is achieved through litigation or settlement negotiations.

Alaina has successfully completed Child Counsel Training for Best Interest, Child Advocate and Child Privilege Attorneys, collaborative practice training, required to satisfy the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals standards for Collaborative Practice in family-related disputes, 40-Hour Civil Mediation Training, required to qualify her as a mediator for general civil litigation cases, 20-Hour Parenting and Child Access Issues Mediation Training, and 20-Hour Divorce Mediation Training on Property and Financial Issues.

She earned her law degree from the University of Baltimore School of Law, and her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Maryland, College Park.

Alaina is an At-Large Member of the Executive Council of the Baltimore County Bar Association. She has served on the BCBA’s Family Law Committee (Chair 2019-2020), Law Day Committee (Chair 2018-2019), Young Lawyers Committee (Chair 2016-2017), and Membership and Admissions Committee (Chair 2015-2016 and 2020-2021). She is also a member of the Women's Bar Association, Howard County Bar Association and Maryland State Bar Association, previously serving on the Family & Juvenile Law Section Council.

Alaina co-authored the custody chapter update to the widely recognized publication Maryland Divorce and Separation Law, Tenth Edition. In addition to being recognized by Super Lawyers Magazine, she also was a recipient of The Daily Record’s 2020 VIP List – Very Important Professionals Successful by 40 Award.
