Michael D. Lovelace

Michael D. Lovelace is a partner and trial attorney at Palumbo Palumbo & Lovelace LLC, based in Fort Washington, Maryland, where he offers legal representation across a wide range of practice areas, including criminal defense, DUI and DWI, personal injury, medical malpractice and family law. With more than two decades of legal experience, he is known for his comprehensive approach to advocacy and commitment to protecting the rights and interests of his clients.

Mr. Lovelace began his legal career serving as a law clerk to the Hon. Joseph S. Casula of the Prince George’s County Circuit Court from 1999 to 2000. This early experience provided him with valuable insight into judicial processes and helped shape his litigation skills. He was admitted to practice law in Maryland in 2000 and later gained admission to the District of Columbia Bar in 2010.

In his practice, Mr. Lovelace handles a diverse caseload, representing individuals facing criminal charges as well as clients navigating complex civil matters. His work in personal injury and medical malpractice cases reflects a dedication to helping those who have suffered harm due to negligence, while his family law practice underscores his ability to manage sensitive and emotionally charged legal issues.

A proud graduate of The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law, Mr. Lovelace honed his shrewd legal acumen and obtained his Juris Doctor in 1999. Prior to attending law school, he received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Spring Hill College in 1996. He remains active in the legal community through his memberships in the Maryland Criminal Defense Attorneys’ Association, the Maryland State Bar Association and the Prince George’s County Bar Association.
