Brian K. Pearlstein

As the managing partner of Brodsky Renehan Pearlstein & Bouquet, Chartered, Brian K. Pearlstein brings 25 years of experience representing his clients throughout the state of Maryland and the District of Columbia. From the firm's office in Gaithersburg, he focuses his practice exclusively in the area of family law, handling a variety of matters including child custody, child and spousal support, complex property division, divorce, prenuptial agreements, same-sex marriages and other related issues.

In 1988, Mr. Pearlstein received a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Michigan. He then pursued his legal studies at American University Washington College of Law and was awarded his Juris Doctor in 1992. He is admitted to practice in Maryland and the District of Columbia, and he is additionally admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland, the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit.

Over his career, Mr. Pearlstein has earned the respect and recognition of his fellow professionals for his high levels of skill and ethics. He has received an AV Preeminent* peer review rating through Martindale-Hubbell and a 10.0 "Superb" peer review rating through Avvo. He has also been selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America. Mr. Pearlstein is actively involved in a variety of legal and civic organizations. The secretary of the Family and Juvenile Law Section of the Maryland State Bar Association, Mr. Pearlstein also serves on the board of directors of the Bender Jewish Community Center of Greater Washington as well as on the corporate advisory board of the Johns Hopkins Children's Center.
