S. David Elling

A managing partner at the Law offices of Elling & Elling in Gaithersburg, Maryland, S. David Elling has consistently provided efficacious legal representation to clients across the state in complex legal matters pertaining to personal injury law and criminal defense. Mr. Elling made his first foray into the legal field by enrolling in the University of Baltimore School of Law, where his academic prowess was evident through receiving his Juris Doctor magna cum laude in 1974. Prior to graduating from law school and obtaining his license to practice law in Maryland and the District of Columbia, he completed his undergraduate studies with high honors in 1971 from the University of Maryland, earning his Bachelor of Arts degree. He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of Maryland.

Within his legal community, Mr. Elling strives to progress the standard of client care in his industry to greater heights through engaging with his peers in myriad legal organizations. With nearly half a century of experience and through his pristine, client-centric practice, he has emerged as a pillar of leadership within his legal community for his empathetic care for his clients and maintaining consistency in upholding ethical standards in every case he takes on.
