Marla Zide

As founder of the Law Office of Marla Zide, LLC, she serves people in Howard, Anne Arundel and Baltimore counties as well as throughout the Eastern Shore in Maryland. Her practice covers every aspect of family law matters such as divorce, child custody, military divorce, prenuptial agreements, same-sex marriage and child support.

As the daughter of a legal professional, Ms. Zide has always had a passion for helping others. Early in her career, she represented people involved in protective order hearings and gained invaluable litigation experience. Her goal is to help clients resolve issues as quickly and effectively as possible. Ms. Zide often reaches efficient solutions through engaging clients in collaborative divorce. She has extensive experience working with children, grandparents, parents and third parties in family law issues.

In 1997, Ms. Zide earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Goucher College. She went on to receive her law degree in 2001 from the University of Baltimore School of Law, where she participated in the family law clinic.

Today, Ms. Zide plays an active role in the legal community. She is a member of the Women’s Bar Association, the Anne Arundel County Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the Young Lawyers Section of the Maryland State Bar Association Inc.
