Robert A. Siegel

Partner at the Zide Siegel Tabor Spigel, LLC, in Glen Burnie, Maryland, Robert A. Siegel is a legal practitioner with almost two and a half decades of experience. His practice is not focused on just one specific area of law, but rather encompasses a wide range of areas, including criminal law, family law and bankruptcy law.

Hailing from Montgomery County in the state of Maryland, Mr. Siegel pursued his undergraduate education at the University of Maryland and graduated in 1993 with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. Later, he passed his Certified Public Accountants (CPA) exam and started his career at a Fortune 500 company. 

Mr. Siegel decided to pursue his lifelong dream of being an attorney and decided to further receive legal education at the University of Baltimore School of Law. He obtained his Juris Doctor with high honors in 1998 and was admitted to practice law the same year.

In the early years of his legal career, Mr. Siegel solely focused his practice on criminal law, DUI and bankruptcy law involving Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 matters and gained invaluable knowledge and experience in these legal niches. Later, he began practicing family law as well and currently assists his clients with divorce, child support, custody, visitation and property settlement.

Mr. Siegel believes that one of the crucial keys to providing quality legal representation to his clients is to be honest and open with them. His blend of professionalism, analytical capability and legal knowledge complement each other very well, thereby enabling him to effectively represent his clients in courtrooms. Previously a part of the Executive Committee of the Maryland State Bar Association’s Consumer Bankruptcy Section, Mr. Siegel is currently a member of the Maryland Criminal Defense Attorneys’ Association and the Anne Arundel Bar Association.
