Alfred Guillaume

Alfred J. Guillaume III has been practicing criminal law since 2006.  The Law Offices of Alfred Guillaume III, LLC is a full-service criminal defense firm, equipped to handle any criminal case, with a specialized focus on defending federal criminal cases and serious traffic matters such as DUI/DWI.  With offices in Greenbelt, Maryland, and Washington, D.C. the firm is well-equipped to handle any criminal law matter, including white collar crimes, racketeering, drug crimes, firearm offenses and many more. 

Mr. Guillaume completed his undergraduate studies in 1999, graduating with his bachelor’s degree in Spanish literature from Xavier University of Louisiana. In 2001, He received a master’s degree in Spanish literature from Tulane University.  In 2005, he graduated from Howard University School of Law and became licensed to practice law in Maryland the same year.   

Mr. Guillaume is also licensed to practice law in Washington, D.C.  He is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of Columbia, the United States District Court for the District of Maryland, the United States Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit and the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. 

Mr. Guillaume began his legal career as a judicial law clerk in Prince George’s County, Maryland.   From 2006-2011, he served as an Assistant State's Attorney for Baltimore City, where he gained invaluable exposure to how the judiciary operates, exposure he now leverages on behalf of his clients in their legal challenges. 

In 2011, he founded the Law Offices of Alfred Guillaume III, LLC, a full-service criminal defense firm and has obtained favorable results for his client throughout the years.  Mr. Guillaume provides his clients the highest level of service available in the legal profession.
