Aron L. Zavaro

At the Thatcher Zavaro & Mani in Greenbelt, Maryland, Aron L. Zavaro is a judicious and upstanding attorney who helps clients with their employment and labor law matters, including discrimination, disability, whistleblower protection, wage and hour claims, and harassment. Representing both employers and employees, he also is knowledgeable in handling matters pertaining to civil rights, business law and general litigation.

Exceeding in academics at the University of Maryland, College Park, Mr. Zavaro graduated magna cum laude with his bachelor’s degree in 2011 and also earned departmental honors, as well as the 2011 Laure Brooks Honors Thesis Award. Venturing into the world of law, he attended the Georgetown University Law Center and received his Juris Doctor in 2016. During this time, he was the recipient of the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in the Mind and the Law.

Mr. Zavaro took part in organizations and activities to bolster his legal acumen and depth of knowledge, including serving as a student attorney at the Georgetown Law Juvenile Justice Clinic, where he represented juveniles in the Superior Court of the District of Columbia and negotiated plea deals, interviewed witnesses and wrote numerous motions for the benefit of his clients. Later, he clerked for the senior judges of the D.C. Superior Court which helped expand his horizons of how the justice system operates. 

In addition to his license to practice in Maryland, Mr. Zavaro is also permitted to practice in New York, the District of Columbia and Virginia, as well as admission to practice before the United States District Court for the District of Columbia. He is a member of the Metropolitan Washington Employment Lawyers Association.
