Gwen-Marie Davis

The managing partner at GDH Law in Lanham, Maryland, Gwen-Marie Davis Hicks works diligently as she fights for the rights of those dealing with personal injury, business organization, and business and civil litigation matters. Serving clients in Maryland and the District of Columbia, Ms. Davis is highly regarded among her peers and is dedicated to providing personal attention to her clients.

Gwen-Marie Davis is a Board of Governor for the Maryland Association for Justice and the American Association for Justice.  She is the current Treasurer for the Maryland Association for Justice.  She is active in her local bar associations, and is a stellar advocate for her clients.  

While in law school, she entered the University of Baltimore School of Law as a Stephen L. Snyder Center for Litigation Skills fellow. While in law school, Ms. Davis Hicks won first place in the ABA Client Counseling Competition and was an American Bar Association National Moot Court finalist.

After receiving her Juris Doctor in 2006, she worked as a law clerk in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City. In 2009, She entered private practice and at Silvera, Davis & Watts, LLC, in Silver Spring, Maryland. She founded her current firm in 2012. Ms. Davis is licensed to practice in the state of Maryland, the District of Columbia, Virginia and before the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland.

Named to The National Trial Lawyers: Top 40 under 40, Ms. Davis Hicks has received a 10.0 "Superb" peer review rating through Avvo. She is an active member of the Maryland Association for Justice, Inc., and the American Association for Justice. 

She has been a Faculty Speaker the the American Association for Justice, the Maryland Association for Justice, and has been asked to speak at bar associations nationwide.
