Gwen-Marie Davis

The founding & managing partner of GDH Law, based in Lanham, Maryland, Gwen-Marie Davis offers legal services across the state. With two decades of experience, her diverse practice focuses primarily on complex personal injury and civil litigation, including trucking and construction accidents, premises liability, medical malpractice, dog bites, and catastrophic birth and brain injuries. She tailors her representation to the unique circumstances of each client, combining strategic legal analysis with powerful courtroom advocacy.

Beyond her robust advocacy for injury victims, Ms. Davis navigates multifaceted legal matters in workers’ compensation, business and commercial law, estate planning and probate administration. She approaches each client’s case with a meticulous, results-oriented strategy designed to counter insurance corporations and secure just outcomes. In 2021, her targeted approach secured a $650,000 settlement for a stranded motorist struck on a highway by a negligent driver.

Ms. Davis established a strong academic and practical foundation early in her career. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Columbia Union College in 2002 before obtaining her Juris Doctor from The University of Baltimore School of Law in 2006.

Admitted to Maryland in 2006, Ms. Davis expanded her geographic reach by earning admissions to practice in the District of Columbia in 2014 and Virginia in 2021. Her ability to handle complex jurisdictional disputes has earned her widespread recognition within the regional legal community.

A dedicated leader in her field, Ms. Davis serves on the Board of Governors for the Maryland Association of Justice and completed a distinguished term as the organization's president from 2024 to 2025. She maintains active involvement in several other prominent professional organizations, including the Maryland State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the American Association for Justice and the J. Franklyn Bourne Bar Association.
