Samantha Dos Santos

Samantha Dos Santos is a Partner at Plaxen Adler Muncy, P.A. who represents personal injury clients. With the firm’s offices spread across the state, she works from their office located in Columbia and extends her service mainly to those residing in and around the Baltimore metro area. She focuses on resolving matters involving personal injury law and handles a variety of cases, including motor vehicle accidents, burn injuries, dog bites, premises and product liability, slip-and-fall injuries and sexual abuse claims.

Graduating from The George Washington University, Ms. Dos Santos obtained her bachelor’s degree in 2015. Here, not only did she focus on her studies, but she was active in sports as well and was the captain of the university’s softball team. Following this, she joined the American University Washington School of Law and graduated in 2018, earning her Juris Doctor with high honors. Her excellence in academics helped her secure multiple scholarships throughout law school such as the Merit Scholarship, Dean’s List Scholarship and Tenley Scholarship.

First admitted to represent clients in the state of Maryland in 2018 and later in 2020 in the District of Columbia, Ms. Dos Santos served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Judge Jeannie J. Hong of the Maryland Judiciary following graduation. Her impeccable dedication during her tenure under the judge helped her quickly pick up the necessary skills and garner knowledge from her well-experienced seniors and judges. 

Ms. Dos Santos was selected as one of the 15 professionals for the Maryland State Bar Association’s Leadership Academy’s year-long program, which is carefully designed to help prepare legal professionals and equip them with all the skills and knowledge they need to become leaders in the legal community in the upcoming years. Following her fellowship year, she was appointed to the MSBA Leadership Academy Committee and now serves as Vice Chair of the Committee.

In addition to Leadership Academy, Ms. Dos Santos has published and presented various pre-litigation and litigation topics and is routinely sought after for her creativity in pursuing public information requests from government entities.
