Ms. Potthast is admitted to practice in the state of Maryland and the District of Columbia.

Ms. Potthast has published in both the GPSolo Magazine and the Lead Paint book chapter of the American Bar Association. At the beginning of her career, she worked as a trial attorney who defended general liability claims, product liability and medical malpractice cases for insurance companies in both federal and state courts, along with the Health Claims Arbitration Office.
