Lynndolyn Mitchell was first admitted to practice law in the state of California in 1987. She is also admitted in Virginia, The District of Columbia and Maryland. She initially worked in Orange County California practicing Juvenile Law and was affiliated with the law firm of Proctor and McNearney. Ms. Mitchell worked as a deputy public defender in the juvenile division of the Riverside County Public Defender's Office. Ms. Mitchell then moved to the Commonwealth of Virginia where she served as a public defender for approximately six years. While serving as a public defender, Ms. Mitchell handled matters ranging from petty larceny to capital murder. She successfully tried over 35 felony jury trials. Ms. Mitchell was an adjunct professor for University of Maryland Globel Campus Europe while she resided in Naples Italy as a result of her Husband's military assignment. Ms. Mitchell continued to serve as an Adjunct Professor for UMGC Europe On-line upon her return to the United States. Upon her return to the United States in 2001, Ms. Mitchell became associated with the firm of Tomlinson and Associates in Arlington Virginia where she practiced criminal and family law. Ms. Mitchell established the Law Office of Lynndolyn Mitchell PC in Rockville, Maryland in 2007. Ms. Mitchell focuses on representing clients in family law matter and continues to handle serious traffic cases in Maryland and the Commonwealth of Virginia. Ms. Mitchell represents clients from all social economic cultural backgrounds. Ms. Mitchell is a frequent lecturer for continuing education through the National Business Institute (NBI) on ethics and family law matters. Ms. Mitchell serves on the Board of Directors of the Bar Association of Montgomery County.
