Joel E. Segall

Joel has dedicated his life to providing his clients with the comfort, trust, and peace-of-mind they deserve when seeking legal counsel. Focusing primarily on Family and Domestic Law, Joel strives to be an advisor and collaborator who works alongside his clients to help them make the best decisions for their interests and maximize their relief. His clients are central to his process; he respects and recognizes that they are the ones who are most familiar with the facts of their case, they are the ones who have bravely sought legal help, and they are the ones experiencing the pain and frustration. Therefore, Joel includes his clients in each facet of his legal approach, considering their thoughts and feelings every step of the way. Joel is a listener and a counselor, and he will be their voice in front of the courts.

Joel is a proud, lifelong Maryland resident. Home to where he lives with his wife and where he raised his family. His higher education began at Washington & Lee University, where he graduated with honors, both Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa, and earned a History degree. He then went on to receive his Juris Doctorate from Georgetown University Law Center. One of his most cherished activities is volunteering as an active member of the Baltimore Humane Society board. This is an organization that does incredible work. Joel is also an avid cyclist and swimmer.

Joel is certified in Civil Mediation and a member of the MSBA Family Law Section, American Bar Association, the Maryland Association for Justice, the Baltimore County Bar Family Law Committee, and certified to practice before the United States District Court District of Maryland. He's been blessed to be married to his amazing wife, Robynn,  who is a registered nurse. They have two sons, two daughters-in-law, a grandson, and two dogs, Jesse and Carson
