Vadim A. Mzhen

Vadim A. Mzhen is a co-founder of Lebowitz & Mzhen Personal Injury Lawyers. As the name of the firm indicates, he focuses his practice exclusively on personal injury and wrongful death litigation, representing clients in Baltimore County and throughout Maryland from his office in Owings Mills. Admitted to practice in Maryland since 1992, Mr. Mzhen became admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland in 1999.

Mr. Mzhen’s client base is comprised of people who have been harmed as the proximate result of the negligence of other parties. The types of cases that he has handled have arisen out of incidents involving truck, automobile and motorcycle crashes, automobile-pedestrian accidents, medical malpractice, including nursing home negligence, premises liability and product liability. Mr. Mzhen has been able to obtain tens of millions of dollars in compensation for his clients, and that is a reflection of his abilities in the courtroom and at the negotiating table.

Mr. Mzhen was born and raised in Belarus, which was at the time a part of the former Soviet Union. He came to the United States as a teenager. He attended University of Pennsylvania and received a Bachelor of Science in engineering. Mr. Mzhen then pursued his legal education at the University of Maryland School of Law and in 1992 he was awarded his Juris Doctor with honors. After graduation, he was associated with the Baltimore office of a national law firm before co-founding his current firm in 1996. Mr. Mzhen’s professional memberships include the Maryland Association for Justice, Inc. and Maryland State Bar Association.
