Joshua Ortega

Joshua Ortega is the managing partner at Ortega Law, LLC, in Pasadena, Maryland. Dedicated to protecting his clients’ rights and freedom, he offers knowledgeable representation to those in Baltimore, Anne Arundel County, Baltimore County, Howard County, Harford County, Montgomery County, Frederick County and surrounding areas in all types of criminal law, family law and personal injury matters.

Mr. Ortega graduated magna cum laude with his B.A. in organizational communication studies in 2006 from the California State University, Sacramento, with memberships in the Phi Kappa Phi and Lambda Pi Eta fraternities. An active member of the trial advocacy team at the law school, he was inducted into the Order of the Crown honor society. Before joining the current firm, he served as an of counsel at Parker, Pallett, Slezak, & Russell, LLC.

Determined and unafraid, Mr. Ortega has proven to assert himself in court and out of it, making him an unstoppable force. With his thoroughness and case preparation coupled with his clarity of thought, he builds persuasive arguments for his clients. To be well-connected with the legal community, Mr. Ortega networks through the Maryland State Bar Association’s Criminal Law & Practice Section and Family & Juvenile Law Section, the Maryland Criminal Defense Attorneys’ Association, the American Bar Association and the Maryland Association for Justice. In addition, he is the trustee of the Anne Arundel Bar Association. Since 2015, he has been the trial coach for the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law.

He has delivered lectures on the Legal Status of Marijuana in Maryland at the Business Training for the Cannabis Industry.
