In 1986, Mr. Metro completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Maryland. He then obtained his law degree from the George Washington University Law School in 1972. The following year, he was admitted to practice in Maryland. Since then, he has also been admitted to practice in the District of Columbia, U.S. District Courts for the District of Maryland and the District of Columbia, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Maryland, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court.
Over the past four decades of serving clients in Maryland and D.C., Mr. Metro has built a strong reputation for impeccable service and unmatched professionalism. In 2013, the Bar Association of Montgomery County presented him with the President's Citation Award. He was also voted among the Legal Elite in 2020 for the Washington, D.C. edition by SmartCEO.
Outside of work, Mr. Metro maintains a high level of involvement with several law organizations. For example, he played an instrumental role in the creation of the Maryland State Bar Association's Advanced Business Law Institute and has served as president of the Bar Association of Montgomery County.
