A. Howard Metro brings over 45 years of experience to his role as a partner at McMillan Metro Faerber, P.C. His in-depth knowledge and proven track record attract loyal clients to the firm who rely on his expertise for matters related to businesses, corporate, closely held business and technology transactions.
Mr. Metro completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Maryland. He then obtained his law degree from the George Washington University Law School. He has been admitted to practice in Maryland, the District of Columbia, U.S. District Courts for the District of Maryland, the District of Columbia, and the U.S. Supreme Court.
Over the past four decades of serving clients in Maryland and D.C., Mr. Metro has built a strong reputation for impeccable service and unmatched professionalism. In 2013, the Bar Association of Montgomery County presented him with the President's Citation Award. He was also recognized by the Daily Record publication for Leadership in Law.
Outside of client work, Mr. Metro maintains a high level of involvement with several law organizations. For example, he played an instrumental role in the creation of the Maryland State Bar Association's Advanced Business Law Institute and until 2022 chaired the committee that created presentations. He served as served as president of the Bar Association of Montgomery County and as chair of the Business Law Section of the Maryland State Bar Association.
