Carlos J.R. Salvado

Attorney Carlos J.R. Salvado is the owner and managing attorney of Salvado Law, in Rockville, Maryland. He is admitted to practice in Virginia and the state and federal courts of Maryland.

With nearly two decades of experience as a lawyer, Mr. Salvado has represented clients in a variety of matters, including criminal defense in cases involving drunk driving, serious traffic accidents and violent crimes such as assault and murder. He has also represented the injured in personal injury claims and helped clients with divorce, child custody and other family law matters. More recently, he has expanded his practice in civil and business litigation.

A longtime resident of Montgomery County, Maryland, Mr. Salvado graduated from the University of Maryland in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts in criminal justice and corrections. He went on to earn his law degree from the University of Baltimore School of Law and obtained his Juris Doctor in 2004. 

While still a law student, Mr. Salvado began working for his family's law firm as an investigator. In 2004, he joined with his father and his brother to form Salvado Law, a general practice law firm with five lawyers in Rockville, Maryland, and Falls Church, Virginia.

As a result of his accomplishments, Mr. Salvado was included in the Top 100 Trial Lawyers list by The National Trial Lawyers. He holds a 10.0 “Superb” client rating on Avvo.

In addition to his law practice, Mr. Salvado also enjoys participating in professional organizations. He belongs to the Maryland State Bar Association, the Montgomery Bar Association, the Maryland Chapter of the Federal Bar Association, the Hispanic National Bar Association and The Virginia Bar Association. He is fluent in both English and Spanish and has deep ties within Maryland's Hispanic community. He is also frequently invited as a speaker by Agendo Radio to discuss issues faced by immigrants and Latin Americans.
