While in law school, she received the First Lap Award for her outstanding contributions to her legal community, and she volunteered her services for the Columbus Community Legal Services clinic. She also served as managing editor for the school's Journal of Contemporary Health Law and Policy and was a member of the moot court team.
Ms. Castellini received her license to practice from the Maryland State Bar Association in 2006, and in 2009, The District of Columbia Bar admitted her to practice. She is a member of several professional legal organizations, including the Women's Bar Association of the District of Columbia, where she serves as president.
