    Attorney Profile

In her over thirty-year career, Lynn Perry Parker has worked with, for and against some of the best attorneys in the country and in big-national, mid-sized regional and small local firms. Desiring to Lawyer with Principles and Purpose, Lynn founded LPP Law in 2012. Lynn primarily counsels and litigates for small employers, closely held businesses and executives throughout the greater District of Columbia metropolitan area on matters concerning employment, business, and contract law. She is licensed to practice in Maryland, the District of Columbia and Virginia.

Lynn's employment law practice includes preparing, reviewing, and consulting about non-disclosure, employment and noncompete agreements, anti-harassment and discrimination policies, and worker classification and pay procedures. As a litigator, Lynn handles employment disputes ranging from wage payment and classification violations to discrimination based on sex (including sexual harassment) age and disabilities. In addition to her counselor and litigator roles, Lynn is a mediator and workplace investigator often hired by other law firms to conduct internal workplace investigations to assess the merits of an employee's claim of discrimination or harassment.

Lynn has extensive sophisticated business litigation experience that includes derivative actions (shareholder or LLC member disputes) for breaches of fiduciary duties, disputes concerning significant real estate brokerage commissions, and commercial landlord-tenant holdover and breach of lease matters.

In addition to Lynn's designation as a Super Lawyer, Lynn's work earned her recognition by her peers in a number of forums throughout her career.  She is currently a Barrister of the Montgomery County Inn of Court. Lynn is active in her community and has held numerous positions in civic and business organizations.

Lynn studied political science & economics at George Washington University and received her BA in 1985. She was awarded her Juris Doctor from The Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law in 1988.
