Ms. Montes pursued her undergraduate studies at the American University, where her academic prowess was front and center. After graduating cum laude with her Bachelor of Arts degree in 2018, she went on to attend the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, and during her time there, she honed her shrewd legal acumen to help her clients today. She earned her Juris Doctor cum laude in 2022 and received the Highest Grade Award in family law, and in the same year, she became licensed to practice law in Maryland.

While in law school, Ms. Montes served within many prominent legal organizations to gain a clearer understanding of how her local judiciary operates, which she now uses today on her clients’ behalf. She was an active participant in the university’s Gender Violence Clinic as well as a legal intern for the Special Victims Division of the Montgomery County State’s Attorney’s Office.
