Max G. Frizalone is a founding partner of FrizWoods LLC in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, where he practices criminal defense law. Representing clients across Maryland, he handles cases including DUI/DWI, assault and battery, felonies, juvenile delinquency, misdemeanors, motor vehicle offenses and traffic violations. Graduating from the University of Miami with a bachelor’s degree in business law, Mr. Frizalone enrolled at the University of Miami School of Law to hone his trial skills. He earned his Juris Doctor in 2018 and in the same year, was admitted to practice in Florida. Currently, he practices across Maryland and the District of Columbia. Working as a public defender in the District Court of Maryland, he served as lead counsel on several criminal trials and was co-counsel on a first-degree murder case. 

Also serving as assistant state attorney at the Prince George’s County Office of the State’s Attorney, Mr. Frizalone worked on criminal cases, providing investigative direction when necessary. Through this extensive experience, he gained insights into the prosecution's strategies, procedures and challenges, which have greatly improved his skills and effectiveness as a criminal defense attorney, allowing him to better advocate for his clients in complex legal situations.
