Ms. Mena completed her undergraduate studies in 1983, graduating with her Bachelor of Arts degree from the American University. She then went on to enroll at the Howard University School of Law, where she fine-tuned her legal talents with sheer academic prowess and practical exposure. She received her Juris Doctor in 1987 and, two years later, obtained her license to practice in Pennsylvania. In 1991 and 1999, she earned her license to practice in Washington, D.C., and Maryland, respectively.
