Alison D. Kohler

Lawyer Alison D. Kohler of Dugan, Babij, Tolley & Kohler, LLC is a dedicated trial advocate for victims of personal injury in Timonium and Baltimore, Maryland.  She handles complex medical malpractice, nursing home negligence and motor vehicle crash cases in both state and federal courts.  Among her many accomplishments, she was the second woman to have been elected President of the Maryland Association for Justice, serving as President in 2005-2006.  Ms. Kohler still remains active in MAJ educational and advocacy activities.

Ms. Kohler is an AV-rated* attorney and a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum having obtained many significant victories in excess of $1 million on behalf of her clients.  She has been recognized as one of the Top 500 Lawyers by LawDragon, recipient of a Lifetime Achievement Award by the Marquis Who’s Who in the World, and as one of American’s Top High Stakes Litigators.  She has been selected by her peers as a Maryland Super Lawyer each year since 2008, and was also selected in 2012 as one of Maryland’s Top 50 Women Attorneys by Baltimore magazine.

In addition to her legal activities, Ms. Kohler is a past president of the Executive Women’s Network and a former board member of the Maryland Humanities Council and the Grants Committee.  As an avid singer, she has sung with groups as diverse as the Boston Symphony’s Tanglewood Festival Chorus and in Gilbert & Sullivan operettas with the Baltimore Young Victorian Theater.  She presently sings in her church choir, as well as yearly cabarets benefiting Baltimore Bar Foundation’s Senior Legal Services. When not practicing law or singing, Ms. Kohler can be found on the golf course.
