    Ms. Storie joined Turnbull, Nicholson & Sanders, P.A. in 2014 as an Associate, and was elevated to Partner in January 2019. She earned her law degree from the University of Baltimore School of Law, and her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Maryland, College Park. Ms. Storie is admitted to the Maryland Bar and the United States District Court for the District of Maryland. 

    Family law is inherently emotional. Ms. Storie guides and collaborates with her clients to help them make informed decisions throughout the entire family law process. Ms. Storie is a compassionate advocate who is invested in her clients' best interests. Ms. Storie's goal for her client is to feel understood, supported, and to walk away knowing she did everything possible to achieve the best outcome for their case. Her legal services include divorce, child custody, child support, property and asset division, litigation and the negotiation of Marital Settlement Agreements. 

    Ms. Storie is very active in the Baltimore County Bar Association. She was selected as an At-Large Member of the Executive Council in 2020. She has served on the Family Law Committee (Chair 2019-2020; Vice-Chair 2018-2019), Law Day Committee (Chair 2018-2019; Vice-Chair 2017-2018), Young Lawyers Committee (Chair 2016-2017; Vice Chair 2015-2016), and Membership and Admissions Committee (Chair 2015-2016 and 2020-2021; Vice-Chair 2014-2015 and 2019-2020). She is also a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, and currently serves on the Family & Juvenile Law Section Council. Ms. Storie was the Baltimore County Representative for the MSBA Young Lawyers Section Council (2014-2015) and a Fellow of the Leadership Academy Class of 2015.

    Ms. Storie has been a frequent presenter on various family law topics for the Maryland State Bar Association, and has chaired family law programs through the Baltimore County Bar Association. Ms. Storie successfully completed collaborative practice training (March 2011), required to satisfy the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals standards for Collaborative Practice in family related disputes and 40 Hour Civil Mediation Training (March 2012) required to qualify her as a mediator for general civil litigation cases. For several years, Ms. Storie volunteered to speak at Career Day at Pikesville Middle School in Baltimore County. During law school, she had the opportunity to serve as a Judicial Intern to the Honorable Michael J. Finifter in the Circuit Court for Baltimore County, and practice as a Rule 16 Student Attorney with the University of Baltimore's Family Law Clinic.

    Most recently, Ms. Storie co-authored the custody chapter update to the widely recognized publication Maryland Divorce and Separation Law, Tenth Edition. 

    Ms. Storie has been named as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers Magazine for years 2014 through 2021 and was a recipient of the The Daily Record's 2020 VIP List - Very Important Professionals Successful by 40 Award.
