A confident and compassionate attorney, Virginia Yeoman is an associate attorney at Wasserman Family Law LLC in Towson, Maryland, a law firm dedicated to serving families and individuals facing various legal challenges. Her confidence stems from her comprehensive understanding of this niche, and she has successfully represented clients across the Baltimore metro area in cases involving divorce, child custody and support, spousal support and enforcement of court orders.
Although a formidable litigator in courtroom, Ms. Yeoman strongly believes that reaching an agreement through negotiation and compromise, rather than relying solely on litigation, will have a lasting impact far superior to a decision by a court. She always strives to find a common ground for her client and the opposition through mediation, however, if the settlement doesn’t turn out to be amicable, she is fully prepared to present the case before the judges or the jurors. Her empathetic approach to her clients has helped her win their hearts. She is rated "Good" on Avvo.
Ms. Yeoman secured her Bachelor of Arts degree in English and literature from New York University (NYU) in 2011. During her third year at NYU, she was chosen among the very few to study abroad for a year, and she had the privilege to attend the esteemed Trinity College Dublin. In 2015, she enrolled in The University of Baltimore School of Law to pursue law and received her Juris Doctor in 2018.
After passing Maryland’s bar exam, Ms. Yeoman was authorized to practice law the same year she graduated from law school. Right after this, she served as a judicial law clerk under the Honorable Paul J. Hanley of the Baltimore County Circuit Court for more than a year. During her clerkship, she discovered her deeply rooted passion for family law. Later, she joined a private legal firm in Baltimore, renowned for its services across multiple areas of law.
Ms. Yeoman is an active member of the Baltimore County Bar Association and the Maryland State Bar Association as well.
