Amanda N. Odorimah

Amanda N. Odorimah currently serves as an associate attorney at Hearns Law Group, LLC, situated in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. Concentrating on family law, probate and estate affairs in Washington, D.C., and the state of Maryland, she adopts a client-centered approach to law practice. Ms. Odorimah holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in criminology and criminal justice from the University of Maryland at College Park, in addition to a Master of Education degree from the University of Maryland University College. She furthered her academic pursuits by obtaining a Juris Doctorate from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2017, focusing on family law. She is duly licensed to practice law in both Maryland and the District of Columbia.

A testament to her dedication to family law, Ms. Odorimah was honored with the Cheryl Lynn Hepfer Family Law Award by the Maryland Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML) during her law school tenure. As a Rule 19 attorney, she actively represented clients in matters related to child custody and domestic violence, showcasing her practical experience and commitment to advocacy.

Post-law school, Ms. Odorimah clerked for the Honorable Cathy H. Serrette in the Circuit Court for Prince George's County, gaining exposure to a diverse range of family law issues. Building on this valuable experience, she joined a reputable law firm in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, before joining Hearns Law Group, LLC. 

A resident of Prince George's County, Ms. Odorimah enthusiastically contributes to the local community. She is a member of several legal organizations, including the Maryland State Bar Association, the District of Columbia Bar and the Prince George’s County Bar Association.
