I founded AO Law, LLC to help clients move through life’s most important transitions with clarity, compassion, and strong advocacy. As a Maryland attorney focusing on estate planning, probate and estate administration, and family law, I help individuals and families protect what they’ve built, resolve conflict, and regain peace of mind.

I began practicing law in Maryland in 2018 and quickly recognized that these areas of law are rarely “just legal.” Estate planning often involves sensitive conversations about incapacity, caregiving, and legacy. Probate can bring unexpected stress, deadlines, and family disagreements. Family law matters—such as divorce, custody, and support—frequently involve high emotions and long-term consequences. In each case, my goal is the same: to bring structure to uncertainty and provide steady, solutions-focused legal guidance from start to finish.

In my estate planning practice, I help clients create customized plans that reflect their goals and values, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, advance directives, guardianship planning, and strategies to protect children, property, and generational wealth. I believe clients deserve more than documents—they deserve understanding. I take the time to explain options in plain language so clients feel confident in every decision.

In probate and estate administration, I guide personal representatives and families through the Maryland court process, including filings, inventories, accountings, creditor issues, and resolving disputes among heirs. I’m hands-on, detail-oriented, and proactive—because when a family is grieving, the legal process should not add unnecessary burden.

In family law, I represent clients in matters involving divorce, custody, visitation, child support, and marital property issues. I approach each case with a balance of compassion and strategic advocacy, prioritizing both protection and practicality—especially when children are involved.

I am honored to have been selected as a Maryland Super Lawyers Rising Star every year since 2023, a recognition awarded to only 2.5% of attorneys statewide. I am also an elected member of the DC Bar Association’s Estates, Trusts & Probate Law Steering Committee, reflecting my commitment to ongoing professional leadership and excellence in this practice area.
