As Managing Member of ZafLaw LLC Michael Zafiropoulos is a versatile practitioner with over 30 years of experience, representing a broad range of clients in the greater Boston area of Massachusetts.
Mr. Zafiropoulos has served as counsel to numerous property owners, developers and closely held family businesses during the development of several small and large scale residential subdivision and condominium projects. He received the Builders Association of Greater Boston's 2009 Silver Prism Award for Best Multi-Family Conversion for his work as one of the principals on the development team of a 26-unit, $15 million condominium project in Boston. In addition to his business experience with these developments, Mr. Zafiropoulos also brings experience as a licensed construction supervisor to his practice.
After graduating from Boston College with his bachelor's degree in political science in 1986, Mr. Zafiropoulos went on to receive his law degree from the Suffolk University Law School in 1990. He is licensed to practice before the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court and the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
Mr. Zafiropoulos is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Real Estate Bar Association for Massachusetts, the American Land Title Association, the New England Land Title Association and the Hellenic Bar Association, for which he is a past president. He has also served on various committees and boards of non-profit and charitable organizations, including past chairman and member for the alumni association of the Rivers School in Weston, Massachusetts. Drawing from his rich heritage and his capacity to find practical and creative solutions for real estate-related development matters, he served as an active participant on the Building Committee for the St. Demetrios Church in Weston, Massachusetts in multiple phases of the $7.5 million development and construction of a new church.
