Andrew S. Wainwright

As a partner and trial attorney at Thornton Law Firm LLP in Boston, Massachusetts, Andrew S. In the area of workers’ compensation, Mr. Wainwright also serves on the Professional Hockey Players' Association Panel of Workers' Compensation Attorneys, demonstrating his experience handling specialized and high-profile claims.

A graduate of Hobart and William Smith Colleges, Mr. Wainwright earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1985. He then went on to obtain his Juris Doctor, graduating cum laude, from Suffolk University Law School in 1991, where he developed the litigation and advocacy skills that continue to define his practice. Admitted to practice in Massachusetts in 1991 and in New York in 2005, he is also admitted before the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 1st Circuit.

Mr. Wainwright maintains active membership in the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys, the American Association for Justice and the Boston Bar Association.
