Brad Bailey

R. Bradford Bailey is the founder of Brad Bailey Law, P.C., located in Boston, Massachusetts. Focusing his practice exclusively on criminal defense at both the trial and appellate levels, he provides representation to clients throughout the area who have been charged with serious offenses such as violent crimes, RICO Act violations, drug possession or trafficking, securities and bank fraud, child sexual assault and pornography, and other state or federal crimes.

After graduating cum laude from Harvard University in 1980, Mr. Bailey went on to attend the University of Virginia School of Law and was awarded his Juris Doctor in 1983. After graduation, he worked as an assistant district attorney in both New York and Massachusetts before entering private practice in 1998. That experience has informed his criminal defense practice, as he often knows how the state will approach cases, thereby enabling him to create an appropriate defense strategy. Mr. Bailey is a frequent guest analyst on local television and radio broadcasts, where he discusses current high-profile criminal cases. He is also a longtime member of the Criminal Justice Act Panel and as such is approved to represent indigent clients in federal court.

Admitted to practice in both New York and Massachusetts, Mr. Bailey is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court of Massachusetts, the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 1st Circuit. Highly regarded by his fellow professionals, he is a member of The National Trial Lawyers: Top 100, and he has received an AV* peer-review rating through Martindale-Hubbell.
