Bradley M. Henry serves as of counsel at Santoro & Gray Law in Boston, Massachusetts, bringing more than 34 years of distinguished trial experience to his civil litigation practice involving wrongful death, catastrophic injury and commercial property loss. His practice areas include personal injury, products liability, and aviation and aerospace matters, where he has handled New England’s highest-profile cases. His approach combines a deep legal insight with an unwavering commitment to his clients’ interests.
A graduate of Suffolk University Law School, where Mr. Henry now contributes to the Dean’s Cabinet and lectures in seminars, he began his legal career in 1989 after completing his first year of law school. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in political science, with minors in psychology and American literature, from the University of Vermont in 1986.
Prior to pursuing a plaintiffs’ practice, Mr. Henry honed his skills defending airlines, aircraft manufacturers and aviation interests in federal court – drawing on his aviation background as a former Supervisor for US Airways (now American Airlines). Over the course of his career, he has established a reputation for handling complex wrongful death, catastrophic injury, commercial property loss and product liability cases, including matters within the aviation and aerospace sectors.
Mr. Henry achieved national prominence in 2016, when the U.S. Supreme Court declined to disturb a landmark $148.5 million judgment – stemming from a $63 million trial verdict – secured against a global pharmaceutical corporation for life-altering drug reactions afflicting a young child. This record-setting verdict, Reckis v. Johnson & Johnson, remains the largest personal injury award in Massachusetts history.
Mr. Henry combines scholarly insight into the U.S. Presidency with a nuanced understanding of human behavior. His knowledge is frequently sought at national conferences, media panels and continuing legal education events, where he addresses high-profile litigation strategies, and the intersection of law and public perception.
Recognized consistently by The Best Lawyers in America since 2012 – and twice honored as “Lawyer of the Year” for 2019 and 2022 – Mr. Henry exemplifies dedication to his clients and the legal profession. His balanced approach, blending rigorous advocacy with a deep appreciation for precedent and policy, underscores his status as one of New England’s foremost trial lawyers.
