Catherine A. Bednar

Catherine Bednar is a Partner in Freeman Mathis & Gary’s Boston office. She is an experienced litigator in state and federal courts, with a focus on professional liability claims and construction lawsuits. Ms. Bednar also represents insurance companies in insurance coverage matters, including rendering coverage opinions.

Ms. Bednar has represented architects, engineers, accountants, attorneys and other professionals in the defense of malpractice claims. She has extensive experience in construction defect cases and environmental disputes. She has also defended a wide array of businesses and individuals against high-exposure claims for personal injury, property damage, monetary losses, and statutory and regulatory violations. In addition to her litigation practice, Ms. Bednar advises her clients on contract negotiation, risk management, regulatory compliance, and insurance coverage issues.
