Jeffrey A. Newman is a partner at the law firm Newman & Shapiro located in Boston, Massachusetts. With a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Massachusetts, Mr. Newman attended Suffolk University to pursue postgraduation studies, obtaining his Master of Business Administration degree. He went on to study law at the Boston College Law School and earned his Juris Doctor in 1982. He is licensed to practice in all of Massachusetts as well as before all Michigan federal courts, the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 1st Circuit and the Supreme Court of the United States.

Actively associated with the legal community, Mr. Newman is a member of the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys, the American Association of Justice, the Massachusetts Bar Association and the Taxpayers Against Fraud. He previously served as a prosecutor at the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office. Prior to law school, he worked as a reporter and photographer.
