Juliet A. Davison

Juliet A. Davison founded the Boston boutique litigation firm of DAVISON LAW, LLC in 2008 after many years as a partner in a mid-size trial firm in Boston.  She focuses her practice at DAVISON LAW on litigation in the following areas: complex business litigation, corporate and partnership disputes, minority shareholder freeze-outs, trust and estate litigation, probate litigation and employment litigation including non-competition and non-solicitation covenants and claims of discrimination, harassment and wage claims.  Ms. Davison represents clients throughout New England and the United States and is counsel in a number of cases with clients located overseas in which the application of foreign laws in Massachsuetts is at issue.  Ms. Davison is recognized for bringing a strategic, practical and results-oriented approach to every engagement.

Following her graduation from Brown University and the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law, Ms. Davison was admitted to the bar of the State of New York bar in 1991 and to the bar of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in 1993.  She is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 1st Circuit.

Over the past 28 years, Ms. Davison has built a reputation as one of the Northeast's leading litigators.  As a result, she has earned numerous honors and awards, including a "Superb" rating from Avvo and an AV-Preeminent peer review rating* from Martindale-Hubbell.  Ms. Davison also has extensive experience in mediation and arbitration.

When Ms. Davison is not in the courtroom, she is often found at legal or community events.  She is a member of a number of organizations, including the Boston Bar Association, the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association - MA Chapter, the American Bar Association and the Massachusetts Employment Lawyers Association.  She is the President-Elect of the Federal Bar Association - MA Chapter, the Co-Chair of the Steering Committee of the Solo/Small Firm Section of the Boston Bar Association and a Member of the Board of Governors of Tufts Medical Center.  She is called on frequently to speak on topics of substantive law and practice development.
